The workshop
The Universal Motors workshop
490 m², five lifts and a team of mechanics who specialise in classic and sports cars, led by our workshop manager.
This workshop lets us check, test-drive and verify every car before it goes on sale: a road test, an underbody inspection on the lift, a static check of the safety items and accessories, and an engine compression reading.
More than 70 checks in total. A vehicle that does not pass this selection is restored or turned down.
Before delivery, every car is serviced and handed over with a roadworthiness test that needs no retest. The workshop also handles your specific requests: a stainless steel exhaust, engine preparation, bodywork modification.

What we check before a sale

Road test
A full dynamic test of every vehicle on arrival, by our workshop manager.

Inspection on the lift
Underbody, chassis and bodywork examined on one of our five lifts.

Safety and accessories
Static check of the safety items, the interior, the upholstery and the accessories.

Engine
Engine compression reading or cold oil pressure check, unless the vehicle makes it technically impossible.
